A collaboration between friends.
It went like this:
- Joel wrote an idea on acoustic guitar, recorded it and gave it a title...then he sent it to Charlie.
- Charlie used this foundation and the title for inspiration and added a bunch of stuff like singy parts, bassy parts, guitary parts and drummy parts.
- Somewhere along the way, somehow, some songs were made.
Some nice things people have said about this EP:
-"...a rustic yet ethereal layered approach of soft guitars, hazy vocals and drum machines with distant crunches for snare hits to set the sound...a good crossover point to explore the slowcore genre from a folk rock perspective...a promising duo which I’d like to hear further work come from in the future."
