Waves 02:50
you’re breaking up can hardly hear you further out into the ocean soon I’ll be alone far away from home the only sound is the crashing of the waves as they’re passing leaving me alone drifting in the ocean far away from home now I'm all alone drifting in the ocean no love, no devotion I am all alone sink or swim getting tired ship to shore hold the wire I’ve become a desert island in your ocean breaking up between the crashing waves
2.
Your Shadow 03:12
no one remembers anything about me there's nowhere left to go under long-forgotten shades of memories covered by your shadow no one has ever cared too much about me I have nothing to show made this empty bed and I’ll be sleeping covered by your shadow I’m still not ready slow and steady how it weighs on my mind the dark reminds me you will find me just a matter of time soon I'll be ready slow and steady how it weighs on my mind under long-forgotten shades of memories covered by your shadow soon I'll be ready slow and steady

where are you? I’d love to see you wanna tell you I still need you maybe I could take you back there to a time and place you still cared you moved on, left it all behind got over it all in no time still remember, how it ended on a Saturday save yourself before you fall I’m not well you’ve seen it all don’t look back and don’t regret I know myself I will forget now you’re gone, don’t care to see me I know you no longer need me you get along fine without me and you never think about me I’ll move on, leave it all behind you’ve been over it for sometime what’s been broken, can’t be mended on a Saturday it ended

Fighters 01:58
every day, you hide away losing touch with everybody live to see another day in the end, you choose nobody you have fought all your life in a losing battle all for show ‘cause you know it’s a losing battle every day, you build a wall safe and sound from all outsiders someday soon the sky will fall we will leave you far behind us
5.
Sleepwalking 02:50
when I saw you sleepwalking couldn’t believe it slumbering, but still talking you told me a secret it made no sense in the moment I couldn’t see it now I believe it along the way there is an answer (there is an answer) somewhere, someday there is an answer (there is an answer) when you told me you loved me couldn’t believe it (don’t you believe it?) empty soul with nobody I couldn’t feel it (why couldn't I feel it?) it made no sense in the moment I couldn’t see it but you believed it

about

A collaboration between friends.

It went like this:
- Joel wrote an idea on acoustic guitar, recorded it and gave it a title...then he sent it to Charlie.
- Charlie used this foundation and the title for inspiration and added a bunch of stuff like singy parts, bassy parts, guitary parts and drummy parts.
- Somewhere along the way, somehow, some songs were made.

Some nice things people have said about this EP:

-"...a rustic yet ethereal layered approach of soft guitars, hazy vocals and drum machines with distant crunches for snare hits to set the sound...a good crossover point to explore the slowcore genre from a folk rock perspective...a promising duo which I’d like to hear further work come from in the future."
- Higher Plain Music (bitly.ws/S8ce)
